Welded Wire Fencing

Welded Wire Fencing is a galvanized fence typically used for security purposes.  Vinyl coating is often applied in order to enhance its durability and weather resistance. 

Cut it to any size, mould it to any shape; welded wire fencing is incredibly versatile.  Because of its great flexibility welded wire fencing is very easy to install yourself, and can be used in any number of home projects.

Attach it to any kind of post & rail fence to serve as a humane way of containing animals. 

You can also cut it to shape and use it to keep birds and other animals from getting into your home via pipes, dryer vents even chimneys. It also serves as a trap to keep debris like trash or blowing leaves from getting into openings as well.

If you have a home vegetable garden you will surely need to protect it from rabbits and raccoons as just one of these creatures can lay waste to your garden ruining all of your hard work.  Simply stake out the perimeter of your garden and attach the welded wire fencing to the stakes. Don’t stop there; bury a wire fence in order to serve as a barrier against burrowing creatures.   You can also fasten wire fencing around your delicate landscaping like trees and shrubs for protection. 

Most often you will find welded wire fencing in 4ftx100ft rolls.  From there you can choose what “gauge” or strength you are looking for.  Other options include how much space the mesh of the fence has.  Common measurements are ¼ to ½ inch openings but you can also find one to two inch meshes as well.  Make sure you determine the correct type of fencing you need and why so that you can get the most benefit from it.  Welded wire fencing is much more economical then chain linked fences and is much easier to use, requiring less time and less equipment.
