I am getting my vinyl fencing installed. I was told by a friend to make sure the fencing material has the steel reinforcements at the base of the fence to ensure stability. The installer told me that the "Kroy" brand is a good durable brand and doesn't need the reinforcement. That was just stuff used on cheap fences. Is this true?

The thing is all these kids keep running thru' this farm field and before they know it, fall off this tall cliff right next to the field. I've been trying to stop them but can't catch them all. So I know horse ranches use that pre fab vinyl fencing, anyone have experience with this?

I was wondering if anyone might know which is cheaper fence to buy chain link or vinyl? I like them both and don't have a huge yard that would need to fenced in. I want a fence to keep dogs off my grass.
