Utility Fence

Just like its name denotes, utility fences can meet a variety of fencing needs.  Light and flexible, a utility fence can be used in many applications. Here are a few of its many applications.

 

Event Managers have found a utility fence to be the perfect solution for controlling crowds at large events. Thanks to its flexibility it is easily set up and taken down from large areas.

 

Golf course grounds keepers have used utility fence to protect precious greens from being destroyed by snowmobile usage during the winter.  It can also be used to block access to areas of the course that may be under repair.

 

Construction companies use utility fence to prevent unwanted trespassers out of construction sites by just setting it up around the perimeter of a work site.

 

Utility fence can also be a lower cost alternative to a chain link fence set up when trying to set up a dog run area.  It can also be used to keep your Utility Fencepets or other unwanted visitors out of a garden area.

 

Another name that utility fence is known by is a “snow fence” because a common use is to control snowdrifts.  You can usually find utility fence along highways, roads or even some driveways, anyplace that seems to accumulate a lot of snow in winter weather. 

 

Utility fence can be used in either commercial or residential applications and is available in a wide selection of sizes.  Utility fence usually comes in rolls so it is very portable and storage is easy.  Installation usually simply involves either nailing or even tying the utility fence to a set of posts that have been staked into the ground. Depending on how it is being used usually determines whether a simple stake is used or a more sturdy wooden post is dug into the ground.
