Yesterday, i asked if this was legal for them to do this without our permission. Everyone said we had to survey the house to see if it was in our property. When i consulted my parents (they're the owners) and surveyed the house, the picket fence was deffintely on our line, so it was ours, 100% for sure! So, what can we do? We don't want to take this to court or make a big deal, but we would like them to at least to replace the fence, how could be go about this if they refuse??
