Can Cats Climb Reed Fences?
Sat, 16 Jan 2010 20:44:37 GMT
I have an issue with a cat coming in my backyard, so I'm putting reed fences along the brick wall, which also gives good privacy. I figured that the top of the reed over the brick would give way, enough (the cat's big too) so he cant climb over. Anyone have experience or knowledge on this.

We have a chain link fence that is about 4 ft high and I would like to attach reed fencing that is about 6 ft high for more privacy. Is this doable? Also, if anyone has reed fencing, please let me know how it's working for you! Thanks. so you answer a question with a question... I am worried about the height difference in the fences and the stability that the reed fencing would have if it were attached to something shorter than it.

Anyone Use "reed" Fence Covers/privacy Screens?
Fri, 22 Jun 2007 02:38:50 GMT
I am thinking of using the roll out "reed" privacy screens sold at home improvement centers to cover an ugly cyclone fence...also for added privacy in my backyard. Does anyone know how long they hold up? I live in northern California...so no snow or too harsh conditions.
