Bamboo Fencing
Nothing makes a garden stand above the rest like adding that
classic Japanese feel. Bamboo fencing does just that.
Usable in both indoor and outdoor applications, nothing can add a
“Zen” atmosphere like having a bamboo fencing backdrop.
Use it to enhance certain parts or your garden, or even use it
to create outdoor rooms and spaces. Instead of using thatch
to provider shade on your patio or porch, consider bamboo fencing
as it adds a distinct character. Many use bamboo fencing to
cover up existing fencing structures. Since bamboo fencing
itself isn’t very sturdy this is the most preferable method to
using
bamboo
fencing.
You will want to make sure that you keep it from touching the
ground directly as it has a tendency to rot if in constant contact
with moisture. Some people have found that by covering their
chain-linked fences with bamboo fencing they are able to enjoy a
more private yard space.
For inside use make your own Tiki bar by stapling bamboo fencing
to plywood. Bamboo poles themselves can be expensive, but bamboo
fencing can give the same look and feel without becoming a
financial burden. Turn an office or extra room into an island
getaway by stapling bamboo fencing to the walls and or
ceiling. With so many uses indoor and out, this versatile
style of fencing can add
just the right touch to any space.
Most bamboo fencing comes in rolls of around 15 feet give or
take and is banded together with galvanized steel wire to increase
durability. Just like any other type of wood bamboo requires
care in order to get the most out of it. A coating of UV
resistant polyurethane will go along way to extending the life of
your fencing. Bamboo fencing is available in a number of
different styles and looks depending on your needs.
